Vintage Tractors
A  Rare Australian Collection
Vintage tractors, old, ancient, classic - call them what you like, if they fascinate you, you've probably got the collector bug.
All around the world there are old farm tractors that have worn out, been replaced by more modern machines or simply no longer needed.
There are thousands of folk who love to find these old workhorses, clean them up, get them running and even restore them to how they were the day they first appeared on a farm, up to a hundred years ago.
You can see these old machines chugging, thumping, roaring or wheezing around at rallies and fairs run by the local old tractor fraternity.
Sometimes you can see them hauling a large, weighted sled when they are competing with like-sized tractors to see who can pull the sled the furthest without stalling.
This page shows my collection of tractors built in many countries and brought to Australia between about 1939 and 1956 to power farms of many kinds.
A couple are restored, others are in the process and the rest are waiting their turn to be tidied up.  All are carefully stored in sheds.
You might have some parts or information that would help.  I might be able to do the same for you.
Click on Contact me and you will be able to send an email. I would like to hear from you.
Click on any tractor name to see a larger photo and a description of the tractor.
Some photos show tractors as they arrived at my place. Some are in better shape now and I have panels etc. for others.
Come back and have another look at the site soon - I will be updating photos and details from time to time.
Advancing age is forcing me to quit some of my tractors over time.

If you see a tractor that you want in these pages, contact me and we can have a talk about it.
You will have noticed this page is very plain. I have left out the fancy bits deliberately because many of my tractor collector friends are in rural areas with very slow dialup internet connections and fancy pages take a long time to load.  I hope you enjoy the content anyway.
